Tim Shields, Founder of N3 Oceanic, was one of the foremost authorities on the effects and benefits of Omega-3 fatty acids, EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid). He introduced "Res-Q 1000" in 1983, which rapidly became the most widely used and recommended marine oil product on the market, with higher levels of EPA and DHA than any product previously available. Later, Res-Q 1250, containing even higher levels of key Omega-3 oils, replaced Res-Q 1000 and was soon followed by the complete line of Res-Q products currently available.

For over 20 years, Shields appeared on countless television and radio programs and hosted numerous health fairs across the country promoting the benefits of Res-Q products. Shields tirelessly waged a personal war while saving thousands of lives in the process.
