The specific probiotic strains in Res-Q ProBiotic support a healthy immune response and have been shown in clinical studies to have many types of beneficial health effects on the functioning of the immune system.
We are living things. We consist of living things as well.
In the digestive tract lives many living things called microorganisms. Some of this is good bacteria and some of this is bad bacteria that can make us sick, cause disease or make us unhealthy.
To help protect ourselves from bad bacteria, we can supplement the diet with beneficial microorganisms that encourage a healthy balance of life in our digestive system.

Res-Q HDL+
Many of our customers have reported health benefits such as an increase in the good cholesterol (HDL) from the use of Res-Q HDL+.
In a german study on
No-flush niacin and lipoproteins, there was
a 24% increase in HDL in one of the study groups of people taking inositol nicotinate in conjunction with clofibrate. Inositol nicotinate is another name for “No-Flush” niacin.
Furthermore, according to
Alternative Medicine Review, “Welsh and Eade found IHN more effective than niacin in its hypocholesterolemic, antihypertensive, and lipotropic effects.”IHN refers to “inositol hexanicotinate,” another technical term for the “No-flush” form of Niacin.

Digestive enzymes improve nutrient absorption
Our ancestors ate raw, uncooked foods containing enzymes. Today, we eat modern, processed, cooked foods lacking enzymes and our body produces enzymes in order to digest the foods we are eating. Supplementing the diet with enzymes puts less demands on the body to manufacture digestive enzymes, and helps maintain healthy organ function as we age.
The production of digestive enzymes may decline with age. Taking digestive enzymes can help with the type of indigestion common to us all. Enzymes help speed the digestion process and promote the digestion of foods that we consume so we can get more from what we eat.
Res-Q All Essential Enzymes combines several different kinds of enzymes for the healthy digestion of carbohydrates, fats and proteins from the foods that we eat. To order
Res-Q All Essential Enzymes, please call 1-800-26-ALIVE. Ask to hear our promotions which can save you money on Res-Q products.

Increasing the metabolic rate is important for weight loss. The metabolism becomes sluggish in overweight and obese subjects placed on low calorie diets. Here are three fabulous fat-burners for weight-loss:
Forslean

Manufactured with a proprietary process, Forslean is a patented extract of the roots of the plant Coleus forskohlii, a perennial herb with fleshy fibrous roots that grows in the wild in warm subtropical areas.
Unlike some other types of fat burners, Forslean works differently by directly activating the release of body fat while bypassing the need for direct hormonal activation in order to do so. Since Forslean works at a later step in the process of releasing fats to be used as energy, Forslean can safely and effectively burn fat and calories, and promote lean body mass.

Bitter Orange

Citrus aurantium is an immature fruit extract also known as Bitter orange, Seville orange, or Sour orange. Bitter orange (Citrus aurantium) is made from from the peel of this citrus fruit. Unlike ephedra, Bitter orange has a shorter half life and safely encourages the breakdown of fat for energy.
Since Bitter orange affects only select cell surface receptors, it achieves the same results of fat burning yet without the side effects. Unlike harsh stimulants, the fruit extract contains a family of organic compounds that do not readily cross the blood-barrier resulting in less stimulation of the central nervous system. Therefore, this fruit extract provides the benefits of fat burning without the high occurrences of side effects. According to a clinical study published in Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, “..acute CA ingestion increases metabolic rate while not affecting the cardiovascular indices of heart rate and blood pressure.”
Green Tea Extract

We also use green tea leaf extract. Green tea, made from tea leaves of Camellia sinesis, contains active components called flavonols that have potent antioxidant (free radical scavengers) abilities that promote good health an
d wellness.
Weight loss claims are now being made by retailers of green tea. The components that comprise green tea may work together having
a synergistic effect to help combat weight gain, help prevent body fat formation, help you burn more fat and calories, and increase energy expenditure.

Green tea extract supplements have been shown to be effective in clinical studies. A study published recently in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition showed that absorption of flavanols from green tea supplements was superior to that of green tea beverages. Furthermore, green tea beverages may contain sugar which would go against the purpose of a weight loss regimen.
Res-Q TrimSystem , an ephedra-free product, consists of only the finest, high-quality fat burners (green tea, forslean and bitter orange) to support the metabolism. The ingredients have been tested and have science standing behind them. Additionally, this Res-Q product is manufactured in accordance with current good manufacturing practices: FDA regulatory guidelines for the safe manufacturing of supplements.

FACT: Researchers in Norway found that when 14 healthy male volunteers took equivalent amounts of omega-3 as ethyl esters or glycerol esters (triglyceride form), the absorption from both forms of omega-3 was just as good. As reported in the medical journal, “Thus, after administration twice daily for 14 days, the amounts of EPA and DHA in total serum lipids and in serum phospholipids were essentially identical for the two ester forms of the n-3 fatty acids.” 1
FACT: Another human study comparing the absorption of omega-3 fatty acids in the form of ethyl esters or triglycerides, showed that both were well absorbed and had produced results. According to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, “This study showed that n-3 fatty acids in fish oil given as ethyl esters or triglycerides were equally well absorbed.”2
FACT: A 14 day study of 101 people taking 5.1 grams per day of the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA as ethyl esters showed beneficial results. The beneficial metabolites of fish oils are the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. Results are dependent on the amount of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA/DHA) consumed. 3 (more…)

An essential part of the cardiovascular program, Co-Q10 provides tremendous heart benefits. We suggest Res-Q CellPower (Co-Q10) for everyone!
Reasons to take CoQ10:
It is a good idea to supplement the body’s own production of Co-Q10 with a Co-Q10 supplement to ensure that you have enough Co-Q10 in your body to improve your overall cardiovascular health. It is possible for people to not have sufficient levels of Co-Q10 because Co-Q10 declines with age and many prescriptions may deplete it.
Co-Q10 is a powerful antioxidant that provides cellular energy to all your cells, including your heart. Antioxidants fight the free radicals that can cause cellular damage. Co-Q10 is an ingredient found in Res-Q CellPower, a combination of antioxidants to encourage the health of the arteries.
