Recent News: Are cholesterol concerns on the rise?

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

It seems that more people need help for their cholesterol. According to USA Today, “80% of men older than 50 and women older than 60 should be taking a cholesterol-lowering drug, raising the total for whom the drugs are recommended to 44.7 million. That’s an increase of more than 11 million people.”

With cholesterol concerns increasing, natural products may be in big demand. Our live call-in radio shows help people by offering diet and weight management advice in addition to all-natural dietary supplements.

For some people, natural solutions could mean less medication. We advise our customers not to stop their medications on their own. By not making any changes, the results of taking the Res-Q products can be measured. Some of our customers have not started medicine yet. The results of taking Res-Q products can be seen after 6-8 weeks. As always, continue to work with your doctor. For more information on which products you need, call and speak with a Res-Q consultant prior to ordering: 1-800-262-5483. (more…)

How Does Res-Q 1250 Compare to Eating Salmon?

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009
Market Research Report

On average, you would have to eat 28 pounds of sockeye salmon to equal the amount of omega-3 fats in one bottle of Res-Q 1250. When taken as directed, each bottle lasts 33 days. Imagine eating 28 pounds of fish in one month.

Concerns over the mercury content of fish have restricted the recommendations of health agencies regarding intake of omega-3s in an individual’s diet by limiting the amount of times fish should be consumed per week.

Supplementing the diet with Res-Q 1250 is the easiest way to consume the recommended daily intake of omega-3s without having to worry about high mercury levels. (more…)

Get Help for Inflammation

Monday, January 26th, 2009

Are you looking for a natural means to reduce inflammation?

Too much saturated fat leads to inflammation and insulin resistance.
Read food labels. Look at your favorite snack foods. Consuming lots of saturated fats per day and little to no omega-3 fats can produce inflammation. You can balance the body’s inflammatory response by reducing the over-consumption of inflammatory foods and supplementing the diet with omega-3s.

Omega-3 fats have the opposite effect of saturated fats.
When we hear the word “fat,” we think of something bad for us or bad for our body. However, omega-3 fats from fish have an opposite effect in the body. They help to deter inflammation–not cause it. A pure source of omega-3 fats is healthiest.

Our diet does not deliver sufficient levels of omega-3. The omega-3s found in omega-3 fortified foods and cooked fish is not enough to have a significant effect on inflammation. Most over-the-counter fish oils do not provide enough omega-3 in one daily dose to have a significant effect.

The best way to supplement the diet with omega-3’s is to take a purified, potent supplement derived from fish oil.

Res-Q 1250 is a highly purified, potent and effective omega-3 supplement intended to help restore the proper balance of omega-3 fats back into your diet for a more balanced inflammatory response. For significant health benefits, Res-Q 1250 provides the right levels of omega-3 fats as shown effective in clinical studies. Beneficial results can be seen in just 4-6 weeks. Supplementing your daily diet with Res-Q 1250 can make a dramatic difference in how you feel.

Better digestion means better health, nutrient absorption, a cleaner colon, less health-attacking toxins and less symptoms of common indigestion.

With age, our enzyme supply diminishes. Also with age, more indigestion is common.

Res-Q All Essential Enzymes is intended to supplement the diet and to provide additional enzymes for healthy digestion. Res-Q All Essential Enzymes provides a more complete range of the various enzymes to support the digestion of carbohydrates, fats and proteins for more complete health benefits. (more…)

What does this mean? If you already have bad arteries, then getting a full night’s sleep should be a part of your heart-health program. If your arteries are healthy, then getting a full night’s sleep could help play a role in maintaining the health of your cardiovascular system.   (more…)
