Res-Q Multi

Res-Q Multi

Res-Q Multi is a dietary supplement that contains vitamins, minerals, and additional heart-healthy ingredients. Res-Q Multi promotes cell function, health and wellness. Additionally, Res-Q Multi is a heart-healthy multivitamin supplement that promotes health and longevity by providing proper intake levels of vitamins.

A study was conducted to see if multivitamin supplements have an effect on telomere length. Telomeres are caps that protect chromosomes. Telomeres indicate age.  With age, new cells end up with shorter telomeres.  Shorter telomeres are associated with aging and growing older while longer ones are associated with longevity. The result of the study: women that took vitamins supplements had longer telomeres.

Vitamin News: Vitamin D and Mental Health

Monday, July 20th, 2009
Res-Q Multi There is a direct relationship between Vitamin D levels and mental ability. Studies show that low levels of Vitamin D are associated with poor cognitive performance while high levels of Vitamin D are linked to high scores on cognitive performance tests. Health experts now believe that the intake level of Vitamin D should be higher.

Vitamin D may support brain function by influencing brain proteins associated with learning, memory, motor control, and maternal and social behavior. It is also thought that Vitamin D supports increased levels of glutathione, which works as an antioxidant.

Vitamin D may also support mood. A study on Vitamin D in the form of Vitamin D3, inclusive of a group of people supplementing with 800 I.U. of Vitamin D3, provided beneficial brain health benefits. Vitamin D3 is the more effective form of Vitamin D.

One serving of Res-Q Multi, our heart-healthy multivitamin complex, provides 800 I.U. of Vitamin D3, also known as cholecalciferol, a potent and natural form of Vitamin D3.

AMA recommends Vitamin D testing

Monday, July 13th, 2009
Res-Q Multi

Res-Q Multi is the Res-Q multivitamin.

Res-Q Multi is a heart-healthy multivitamin that contains Vitamin D in the form of Vitamin D3. Vitamin D3, also called cholecalciferol, is the best form of Vitamin D because it is the same form that the human body makes. However, due to the necessity of sunscreen to protect the skin from skin cancer and damaging burns, and the long winter months spent inside, our bodies may not be making enough.

The American Medical News, a news publication for physicians published by the American Medical Association, is encouraging physicians to perform Vitamin D testing!

New All-Natural Ways to Lower Your Cholesterol

Thursday, July 9th, 2009
Res-Q LDL-x2 with Niacin supports cholesterol.

Res-Q LDL-x2 with Niacin supports cholesterol.

It was recently reported on the news that a diet low in carbohydrates reduced cholesterol levels. This diet may have been successful while others failed, because vegetable sources were used. Sometimes low carbohydrate diets can tend to be high in animal products which contribute to the intake of dietary cholesterol.

Many people struggle to maintain a normal cholesterol level. Dietary fluctuations could cause a good cholesterol number to increase.

However, the right natural products help maintain a cholesterol level that is already normal. Res-Q LDL-x2 with Niacin is a safe, all-natural product that contains an ingredient that is known to lower LDL cholesterol levels by blocking the absorption of dietary cholesterol in the digestive tract.

Res-Q LDL-x2 is also available without the added niacin. For complete heart health benefits, please take Res-Q LDL-x2 with Niacin, in conjunction with Res-Q 1250, our potent omega-3 supplement.

Res-Q 1250 and Mental Health: Part I

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

Res-Q 1250, our high-poRes-Q 1250 is available in capsules or liquid.tency omega-3 supplement, helps maintain a healthy mood.

The increased prevalence of mental illness and the surge of new medications may indicate a greater need for prevention and the need to focus on the health of the brain.

We include a healthy balance of both EPA and DHA, the building blocks of the brain, the majority of which is comprised of fats. Res-Q 1250 is effective because it is a direct source of the omega-3 fatty acids called EPA and DHA, the very same active ingredients that are identified in clinical studies published in the medical journals. Res-Q 1250 contains more EPA and DHA per capsule for less. (more…)
