Omega-3 News: DHA has anti-inflammatory benefits

DHA helps counteract the body’s inflammatory response.  Therefore, not only do you need the omega-3 fatty acid EPA for anti-inflammatory health benefits, but new research shows that you also need the omega-3 fatty acid DHA. The omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA are the active ingredients found in fish oils.

It was reported by the news, that DHA, an active omega-3 fatty acid found in fish oils, is converted into Resolvin D2 ,and in the medical journal Nature, how Resolvin D2 plays a role in reducing the body’s inflammatory response  that leads to poor arterial  health.

We have always known that the omega-3 fatty acids are good for our health. However, as time goes on, we continue to learn more about the specific roles that EPA and DHA play in the body.

Important Points

  • Reducing inflammation helps maintain healthy blood vessels
  • Unlike some anti-inflammatory drug medications, Resolvin D2 does not have an adverse effect on the immune system
  • It is now obvious that EPA is not the only omega-3 fatty acid that is important for reducing inflammation

Res-Q 1250 contains the proper balance of the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA for optimal omega-3 health benefits including reduced inflammation and improved cardiovascular health. Res-Q 1250 contains the omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA, because we feel that both omega-3 fatty acids are important for a more complete health. If Res-Q 1250 is taken as directed, you may experience help with occasional aches and pains that are common to everyone. For questions about Res-Q 1250, or to order Res-Q 1250, call 1-800-26-ALIVE (262-5483).

I like a healthy balance of both EPA and DHA. Scientists keep learning more about the omega-3 fatty acids. New information is released all the time. I always knew EPA helped inflammation. It is good to learn that DHA helps inflammation also. It shows that both omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA are just so important to human health. I always need to take my Res-Q 1250. It has made a difference in my life. I like natural products that help inflammation. Nothing works as well as Res-Q 1250, for inflammation. Because I take Res-Q 1250, I don't have to take other things that I just don't need.

  2. One thing I’ve always been intrigued by is the order of nature, and how delicately it’s all balanced. One thing can cause a domino effect on so many others. Great posts here!
