The omega-3 fatty acid DHA is important for the normal process of healthy growth and development of children. DHA is very good for the health of the eyes and the brain of children. According to The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, “The n-3 fatty acid docosahexaenoic acid (DHA; 22:6n-3) is important for neural and visual function development.”

Res-Q 1250 Liquid provides more omega-3 fatty acids: EPA and DHA, per teaspoon than the majority of omega-3 fish oil supplements sold today and since small children may not swallow capsules, Res-Q 1250 Liquid is convenient, you may mix the oil in with their food.

Since Res-Q 1250 provides more omega-3 per teaspoons, Res-Q 1250 is a better value for your dollar and you save more! Res-Q 1250 is intended to supplement the diet to provide an optimal amount of omega-3 fatty acids to help provide a proper balance of healthy, good fats. Res-Q supplements helps provide optimal brain and eye health.

Multivitamin supplements may not contain any omega-3 all. For example, Flintstones Complete, does not provide any omega-3 fats. Don’t forget this important nutrient! Give your child an additional omega-3 supplement with their vitamins. For more information about Res-Q 1250 Liquid, please call 1-800-26-ALIVE.

Omega-3 fatty acids, such as DHA, play a role in producing healthy babies. Mom’s diet is so important to unborn babies, since healthy babies rely on mom’s nutritional diet. Healthy babies also rely on DHA from breast milk.

If mom is deficient in DHA, an omega-3 fatty acid, then the baby will be deficient in DHA! Omega-3 fatty acids like DHA, are good beneficial fats that promote brain development. In fact, the majority of the brain is fat of which DHA represents a portion of the brain.

A new randomized, controlled clinical-trial shows that more DHA is better for healthy babies. As reported in medical news, “Investigators observed an 80% reduction in the proportion of baby girls with significant mental delays when they had a diet rich in docosahexaenoic acid.”1 Another type of omega-3 fatty acid called ALA, seen in various foods and formulas, is not a direct source of DHA, the fatty acid used in this study.

Babies that were delivered early were divided into two groups. Of the group of premature babies that received the high-DHA diet, the baby girls performed better on mental tests at 18 months, than those on the standardized diet. The better mental performance is linked to the breast milk from moms that were supplementing with approximately 1,000 milligrams of DHA! However, to ensure that the babies in the high-DHA group received the same amount of DHA, a DHA-fortified formula was provided when needed.

Make sure that you and your baby are getting enough DHA!

Res-Q Calamarine for brain and eyes

You need a a high-potency, omega-3 high-DHA formulation available in soft gelatin capsule

We recommend that pregnant women work with their physician regarding supplement intake and for how to administer to children under the age of one year.

Although the women in the study had to take six omega-3 capsules, it takes only aprox. two Res-Q 1250 Calamarine capsules to get the same amount.

The Res-Q Calamarine oil is derived from Calamari, the best source of DHA.

For quality control, the Res-Q’s omega-3 supplements are further refined through a multi-step purification process including molecular distillation and testing to produce only the best quality omega-3 supplement. Oils produced in this manner are stripped of the mercury in fish, and that is the only kind of omega-3 that is safe. Res-Q 1250 and Res-Q Calamarine, pure and potent omega-3 supplements, can be purchased online at http://www.myresqproducts.com/ or by telephone: 1-800-26-ALIVE.

Res-Q’s omega-3 supplements provide more omega-3s for less. Safe to take when pregnant and breastfeeding, Res-Q’s omega-3 supplements can be recommended when other supplements cannot. Studies show that omega-3 is so beneficial that the idea of not obtaining omega-3 when pregnant may cause more harm than good.

Due to water pollution, pregnant women cannot obtain enough omega-3 from fish due to concern over heavy metals. The Res-Q omega-3 dietary supplement is a purified, safe form of omega-3. Metals and oxidative impurities are removed through a specialized purification process.

A new study shows more DHA is better. By comparing vision at four months of age, and dividing the infants into multiple groups, a new study sheds light on the subject of just how much omega-3 pregnant women need. Babies fed a higher dose of DHA compared with a lower dose of DHA, had better vision.

Omega-3 fats promote visual development in babies and are a very beneficial supplement for women to take on a regular basis. The study determined that one gram of DHA was better than the typical dose used, which is far less.

How much omega-3s do I need?
Since the optimal amount of omega-3s remains to be established, pregnant and nursing women should consult their doctor for dosage recommendations and for administration to children under one year of age. It is still very important to work closely with your doctor regarding dietary requirements for infants, and make sure that your doctor knows what supplements you take.

We recommend that nursing mothers and pregnant women discuss the dosage of omega-3 with their physician.

Supplementation is most beneficial in the early stages of pregnancy. Even if you are thinking about becoming pregnant, it is a good idea to supplement.

Studies show supplementation beneficial during pregnancy:

Significantly decreases chances of low birth weight, and premature delivery

Benefit brain and retinal development of baby even if born premature

Studies show supplementation recommended after pregnancy:

Levels of DHA are greatly depleted after pregnancy.

Decrease risk of developing post-partum depression and treatment of post-partum depression.

Breastfed babies need DHA from mom’s breast milk. Therefore, mothers need to obtain enough omega-3 in the form of DHA.

The omega-3 fatty acids help support a normal brain function. Adults take Res-Q 1250. A lot of studies in American Journal of Clinical Nutrition have been conducted on children. However, adults may obtain the same results. Some of our customers tell us that their children pay attention better, sit and focus longer than they used to.

Low levels of omega-3 fatty acids have been found in these children. Since omega-3 has to be converted into EPA and DHA, supplementation with a potent grade of EPA/DHA is necessary because the body gets a direct supply of EPA and DHA. Therefore, supplementation may help correct the deficiency.

If a poor dietary intake or a poor ability to metabolize omega-3 into active omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA is happening, then supplementing the diet with a direct source of EPA and DHA, such as Res-Q 1250, would be beneficial to restore levels.

Omega-3 fatty acids are important to the brain development, health, structure and function of the brain which is comprised of fats. It has been suggested that the type of fat consumed can affect the function of the brain. Only from specific fatty fish can we obtain a sufficient amount of the good omega-3 fats from diet. Due to the fact that children don’t like fish, fish is not consumed often enough, and safety issues surround fish consumption, if you are looking for a very good supplement to give your child, a pure, safe omega-3 fatty acid supplement would be very beneficial to supplement the diet to help ensure that omega-3 is obtained. Your brain relies on omega-3 fatty acids for proper health and function.

Res-Q Calamarine for brain and eyes

Omega-3 fatty acids are a “brain power boost.”1

Researchers in Detroit, Michigan, conducted a study to learn more about the role of DHA, a good fat, an omega-3 fatty acid, on growth and development.

In a new study, the DHA content in umbilical-cord blood , an omega-3 fatty acid was linked to better “brain and eye development at the ages of 6 months and 11 months”1

Newborn cord blood containing higher levels of DHA at birth was linked to better performance on tests for visual acuity and memory at 6 months of age, and cognitive and motor development at 11 months.

Since pregnant women are advised to avoid large fish like swordfish and shark due to mercury levels, a safe way to ensure that you are getting DHA while pregnant is to take a highly purified form of fish oil that has been molecularly distilled to ensure that the final product does not contain harmful levels of mercury that are found in the fish. This way, beneficial omega-3 fatty acids like DHA can be obtained without risk of mercury.

Res-Q 1250, our adult cardiovascular health formulation of EPA and DHA, undergoes a multi-step patented molecular distillation purification process to ensure the highest standards for purity and potency. When compared to other brands, Res-Q 1250 delivers two to four times more EPA and DHA per just one capsule.

Res-Q 1250 is also available in our original all-natural lemon-flavored liquid.

We also deliver a better cost per 1 gram of DHA and EPA, and convenience plans and special promotional offerings to allow our customers to take a quality product at a reasonable price thereby helping them better the health of their lives. Our customers continue to give EPA/DHA to their children as they grow to maintain proper nutrition for brain health.

Res-Q 1250, provides cardiovascular health benefits by providing the optimal 3 grams of EPA and DHA that is recommended for maintaining specific cardiovascular health benefits like a normal triglyceride level, to help balance the dietary inflammatory response, and to continue to maintain a cholesterol level that is within the normal range. Our adults take the 3 grams per day for heart health and children ages 1-12 take less; children may take 1 gram per day for general health, brain function, and growth.

Res-Q Calamarine, our high DHA supplement for optimal brain and eye health, provides more DHA per capsule. DHA is vital for infant brain developement. If you are pregnant, might become pregnant, or are breastfeeding, discuss taking either Res-Q 1250 or Res-Q Calamarine with your doctor. Research studies indicate that DHA intake during the third trimester of pregnancy may be very important. We recommend that pregnant women discuss with their doctor recommendations on what dosage to take during pregnancy.

This news could make omega-3 fatty acids like DHA, one of the most important nutrients to choose to supplement the diet with when pregnant, especially considering, it is next to impossible to achieve higher levels of DHA, due to the recent advisories that pregnant women limit omega-3 from fish intake due to mercury levels; blood levels of mercury during pregnancy were linked to poor test performance in babies.

To place an order for Res-Q 1250, call 1-800-26-ALIVE.
