Res-Q Products and the Immune System

Monday, May 11th, 2009

Vitamins are very important for immune system health.
Vitamins have a direct effect on the function of the immune system. If you do not eat a very healthy diet every day, a diet containing vitamins, then your immune system may be at risk. Res-Q Multi is not only a complete multivitamin supplement, Res-Q Multi is specifically formulated for cardiovascular health. Not only do you achieve the immune system support benefits from Res-Q Multi, but you also have the right levels of vitamins for cardiovascular health. Unlike Res-Q Multi, many of the multivitamin supplements sold in the grocery stores do not even come anywhere close to providing the right levels of vitamins for cardiovascular health as shown in clinical research studies.

If the digestive tract is not healthy, then your immune system may not be healthy.
You may not be getting the absorption that you need to receive the benefits of the vitamins. The following Res-Q Products aid in cleansing the digestive tract, reducing the amount of waste and toxins, and improving vitamin absorption: Res-Q Land n Sea Fiber, Res-Q ProBiotic, and Res-Q All Essential Enzymes. By using these Res-Q products, you can help maintain a healthy, clean digestive tract thus allowing for better absorption of your other Res-Q supplements. Did you know that immune system function is directly influenced by probiotics, the micro-life in the digestive tract?

Res-Q CellPower also supports a healthy immune system.
Res-Q CellPower is an antioxidant supplement that provides Vitamin C in the fat-soluble form and is stabilized in a base of salmon oil for enhanced delivery. The salmon oil naturally contains an antioxidant called astaxanthin, which is well known as being a powerful antioxidant. The salmon oil is further enhanced with additional antioxidants such as lutein, lycopene, and Co-Q10 that you may not be getting from your other supplements. Antioxidants help support the immune system by helping to promote immune cell health. Free radicals may decrease the number of immune cells. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals, stabilizing the free radicals so harm is not caused. Res-Q Resveratrol is an additional antioxidant that you can take with Res-Q CellPower for additional support of the immune system.

Antioxidants and Living Longer!

Wednesday, January 14th, 2009

Smoking increases risk of Alzheimer’s disease
Antioxidants can help us live longer. Everyone can benefit from antioxidants, but if you are a smoker, it may be even more important to take antioxidants. It was recently reported that older adults who smoke have an increased risk of getting Alzheimer’s disease. Of course, quitting smoking would be the best thing to do.

Free radicals harm the brain
Clinical studies on Alzheimer’s disease show a connection between free radicals and Alzheimer’s disease. Free radicals, which are by-products of normal bodily processes, can be harmful in excess quantities. Free radicals can be triggered by pollution and smoking.

Smoking triggers excess free-radical production.
Free radicals attack cells. The attacked cells attack more cells causing a chain reaction of damage to the body. This happens because free radicals are missing an electron and steal electrons from other atoms, then those atoms are missing electrons. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals by lending an electron or by otherwise stabilizing the free radicals so the free radical does not harm the body.

Modern diets lack antioxidants
Diets lacking sufficient fruits and vegetables may lack antioxidants. Supplementing the diet with antioxidants can benefit health and increase longevity. Studies show that using multiple antioxidants works better than using just one antioxidant. Studies show that antioxidants can help maintain a healthy brain.

Antioxidants help maintain a healthy brain
One of our best antioxidant products is Res-Q CellPower. Another great antioxidant product that helps protect the brain from free radicals is Res-Q Resveratrol. Research shows that using the ingredients in both products together would produce maximum benefits for the health of the brain. Res-Q Multi, our heart healthy multivitamin, contains vitamins, minerals, heart-healthy ingredients, and a variety of antioxidants also.
