Are you taking a statin medication for cholesterol?
If so, you should be taking an omega-3 supplement.
A randomized placebo-controlled clinical study revealed that adding 4 grams of omega-3 EPA/DHA to statin drug therapy, can reduce triglycerides by almost 30%!
Obviously statin drugs are not enough. Adding beneficial nutrients to a statin drug improves the outcome.
Taking omega-3 EPA and DHA did not raise the LDL cholesterol and it is interesting to note that after 8 weeks of supplement use, the
LDL particle size was
larger in the group taking omega-3. It is thought that the
size of cholesterol (the size of the LDL), may be important to know, just like the
amount of cholesterol, the cholesterol number (Example: LDL, non-HDL, and Total Cholesterol) is important to know. A larger cholesterol-size may be less likely to harm the arteries, then a smaller cholesterol-size.

An omega-3 article, sent to us courtesy of one of our Res-Q customers, speaks of a coal miner rescued from carbon monoxide poisoning by a potent omega-3 supplement. The doctor, having read about the health benefits of fish-oils, decided to give large doses of omega-3 from a fish oil in an attempt to restore health. This is a true miracle. I have included a section from the article:
“…in less than six months the damage to his heart, kidneys and liver had been reversed. His brain showed signs of neural growth and his memory had improved. He gradually regained his speech and vision, as well as his ability to walk…”

Res-Q 1250 is available in capsules or liquid.
Who has low levels of EPA, an omega 3 fatty acid?
Therefore, those suffering from depression may benefit from omega-3 supplements in order to restore levels of omega-3. Omega-3 fatty acids are called essential because omega-3 must be obtained from diet.
People suffering from depression are not the only group of people that may need more omega-3 fatty acids. (more…)

Res-Q 1250 is available in capsules or liquid
Some people on low-fat diets, or I should call the diets no-fat diets, have inquired about fat grams in Res-Q 1250, concerned that Res-Q 1250 will make them gain weight. However, omega-3 fatty acids actually do the opposite.
In fact, we need more of the good omega-3 type fats in our diet. Although we may be consuming more than the daily recommended amount of fat, we need some fat every day in our diet and some of this fat should be omega-3, preferably from fish oil supplements, the best way to ensure omega-3 intake every day.
The type of fat consumed is very important to weight loss. A lack of the essential omega-3 fatty acids can trigger the body into storing fat.
Furthermore, in a randomized controlled trial study, omega-3 fatty acids were given to women following a fixed weight loss regimen and the women in the omega-3 group experienced a decrease in weight and body mass. (more…)

Omega-3 is good for our heart health. Scientific research studies show over and over again that taking omega-3 can help us live longer.
Recent news confirms that omega-3 is good for the heartbeat. The recent report linked omega-3 fatty acid intake with changes in the heart rate in older adults.
Scientists want to learn more about how omega-3 affects the heart.
Recent research was conducted to see if “habitual consumption of omega-3 fatty acids would be associated with more favorable heart rate variability”, a factor that “…predicts cardiac death and reflects specific electrophysiological pathways and influences.”
Omega-3 fatty acid intake was linked to “…“more optimal” values of various HRV indicies” helping us to see how omega-3’s are good for the heart.
Learn about our omega-3 supplement, Res-Q 1250.

Res-Q 1250 helps combat mild memory loss
associated with aging

A great source of DHA
In a recent study, the omega-3 fatty acid DHA increased production of a protein that promotes brain health.
The latest information on omega-3 shows us what omega-3 does in the brain. DHA encourages the production of a protein called LR11 that promotes a healthy brain. LR11 helps maintain a healthy brain by reducing the “amyloid precursor protein”, a harmful protein involved in beta-amyloid plaque formation.
This study suggests that omega-3 fatty acids, specifically DHA, plays a role in the brain to help maintain a healthy brain and even may help fight off the mild memory loss associated with aging that is common to all of us as we grow older.
Help combat mild memory loss associated with aging with Res-Q 1250, our highly potent, highly purified, safe and effective omega-3 supplement, rich in omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA.
Purchase Res-Q 1250 or call 1-800-26-ALIVE for more information.

What kind of omega-3 are you buying? Res-Q 1250?
The Center for Science in the Public Interest is concerned that the marketing of omega-3 in foods may be misleading. People who see “omega-3” in foods in the grocery isle may think that they are going to reap the heart-healthy rewards of omega-3, when in reality there is so little omega-3 in foods, that you are better off taking a high-quality grade fish oil capsule a day than thinking that you can skip the supplement, because the food contains “omega-3”.
In order to reap the rewards of omega-3, especially the well-known cardiovascular benefits that you hear about on the radio, TV, and in health newsletters, you need EPA and DHA.
Most food labels do not list how much EPA and DHA you are getting. If you are not seeing EPA and DHA on the label, the right type of omega-3 for heart health, then you know that your omega-3 may be worthless. Even if some foods do include omega-3 in the form of EPA and DHA, the active omega-3 fatty acids, the amount is so minimal, that is far below what you need for the established health benefits, making it relatively useless from a science standpoint, providing little or no health benefits at all. Just one capsule of Res-Q 1250, our purified and potent omega-3, contains 390-430mg of EPA and 300-325mg of DHA. Food products do not even contain anywhere near this amount of omega-3.
For benefits like reducing those normal and occasional aches and pain or maintaining cholesterol levels that are within the normal range and encouraging healthy triglycerides, research shows that you need 3,000 milligrams of the omega-3 fatty acids “EPA” and “DHA” daily!
Do not be fooled or misled by food labels. Don’t forget to take your omega-3 supplement ! Res-Q 1250, our omega-3 supplement, can be purchased at the link below. You can also place an order by calling us toll free at 1-800-26-ALIVE.

Omega-3 Intake Is Benefical During Pregnancy!

Res-Q Calamarine for brain and eyes
Omega-3 fatty acids are a “brain power boost.”1
Researchers in Detroit, Michigan, conducted a study to learn more about the role of DHA, a good fat, an omega-3 fatty acid, on growth and development.
In a new study, the DHA content in umbilical-cord blood , an omega-3 fatty acid was linked to better “brain and eye development at the ages of 6 months and 11 months”1
Newborn cord blood containing higher levels of DHA at birth was linked to better performance on tests for visual acuity and memory at 6 months of age, and cognitive and motor development at 11 months.
Since pregnant women are advised to avoid large fish like swordfish and shark due to mercury levels, a safe way to ensure that you are getting DHA while pregnant is to take a highly purified form of fish oil that has been molecularly distilled to ensure that the final product does not contain harmful levels of mercury that are found in the fish. This way, beneficial omega-3 fatty acids like DHA can be obtained without risk of mercury. (more…)

Scientific proof exists that Omega-3 fatty acids help keep blood vessels flexible
Studies show us that omega-3 fatty acids encourage arterial elasticity, and promote good blood vessel function, playing a role in making our arteries more healthy, elastic and flexible, rather than stiff.
As published this month, in the Journal of Nutrition, a new study showed that arterial function was better when the omega-3 fatty acid EPA was added to a high fat meal.
In another recent study of 52 people, those who took 3 grams of fish oil capsules per day, had arteries that were more elastic than those who took the placebo.
