Res-Q 1250, an effective omega-3 supplement.

Res-Q 1250, an effective omega-3 supplement.

100% of our grams of omega-3 in Res-Q 1250 are easily able to be absorbed, but how much of that is absorbed will depend on your body and your health.

The active omega-3 grams EPA/DHA in Res-Q 1250 are fully able to be absorbed, and have been shown by clinical studies to be effective. However, how much of that will actually be absorbed may depend on the health of your digestive system.

Res-Q 1250 contains the proper balance of omega-3 fatty acids necessary for cardiovascular health benefits and is well absorbed and utilized by the body as evident by the extensive amount of research studies conducted on the omega-3 that we sell.

How do you know that your omega-3 supplement is being absorbed?

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009
In order for an omega-3 supplement to work, it has to be digested, enter the bloodstream, and go to work inside the body performing the health benefits of omega-3: lower triglycerides, a healthy heart rhythm, elastic blood vessels, and reduced inflammation.

Measurabe Results (Cholesterol Lowering)

Scientists can tell that an omega-3 supplement is being absorbed and is performing well in the body by evaluating the measurable results of the omega-3 product in clinical studies such as lowered blood levels of triglycerides, and reduced c-reactive protein levels, an inflammation factor. There are measurable tests that can be performed. (more…)

Res-Q 1250 and Absorption

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

Res-Q 1250 Capsules Res-Q 1250 is well absorbed and is very bioavailable! Res-Q 1250 contains a potent source of EPA and DHA, the omega-3 fatty acids.

Some fish oil capsules only contain 30% of the bioavailable, omega-3 fatty acids.  Not Res-Q 1250.

Res-Q 1250 provides an unsurpassed high concentration of the active bioavailable omega-3 fats called EPA and DHA. This is at least twice or more than most of the low-potency fish oils sold today.    (more…)

Ethyl Esters Versus Triglycerides: Fact or Fiction Part II

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

Research reveals that the results are dependent upon the active amounts of EPA and DHA found in the oil.
Res-Q 1250 works!

Res-Q 1250 works!

Res-Q 1250 offers an ethyl ester form of omega-3 which is appropriate for encapsulation (Res-Q 1250 Capsules), and a triglyceride form (Res-Q 1250 Liquid) which is appropriate for a liquid product.

Both products are equally effective. Both products are formulated to provide similar levels of EPA/DHA which is necessary for desired results, and to last just as long when taken as directed, providing the same economic value to our customers.

FACT: Lots of studies demonstrate that the ethyl ester form of omega-3 is very bioavailable. A study was conducted to learn more about the absorption and incorporation of ethyl esters into the body.1 (more…)

Triglycerides Versus Ethyl Esters: Fact or Fiction?

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008

FACT
: Researchers in Norway found that when 14 healthy male volunteers took equivalent amounts of omega-3 as ethyl esters or glycerol esters (triglyceride form), the absorption from both forms of omega-3 was just as good. As reported in the medical journal, “Thus, after administration twice daily for 14 days, the amounts of EPA and DHA in total serum lipids and in serum phospholipids were essentially identical for the two ester forms of the n-3 fatty acids.” 1

FACT: Another human study comparing the absorption of omega-3 fatty acids in the form of ethyl esters or triglycerides, showed that both were well absorbed and had produced results. According to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, “This study showed that n-3 fatty acids in fish oil given as ethyl esters or triglycerides were equally well absorbed.”2

FACT: A 14 day study of 101 people taking 5.1 grams per day of the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA as ethyl esters showed beneficial results. The beneficial metabolites of fish oils are the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. Results are dependent on the amount of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA/DHA) consumed. 3 (more…)
