How does the omega 3 in Res-Q 1250 compare to flaxseed oil?

Tuesday, May 5th, 2009

Res-Q 1250 Capsules  There is not any EPA/DHA in flaxseeds. Res-Q 1250 is a direct source of EPA and DHA, the beneficial omega-3 fats that are necessary for cholesterol health benefits. The milligrams of omega-3 that you see on the flaxseed label are not in the form of EPA and DHA. Only a very small percentage of this plant based omega-3 flaxseed can be converted for use by the body into the active clinically recognized omega-3 metabolites called EPA and DHA.

How Does Res-Q 1250 Compare to Cod Liver Oil?

Monday, April 20th, 2009

Res-Q 1250 Capsules and Liquid LemonRes-Q 1250 is specifically formulated to provide the proper levels of EPA and DHA for cardiovascular health. Cod liver oils are fish oils from the cod fish. The cod liver oils that I have seen are often used for their Vitamin A content, and therefore limit their recommend daily dosage to only one teaspoon a day, which provides only a little omega-3. Vitamin A intake is often controlled because exceeding excess limits are harmful, and a little omega-3 is just not effective.

Res-Q 1250 provides cardiovascular health benefits that most fish oils can not provide. Most fish oils that I have seen do not provide enough omega-3 to be effective. Multiple reports show that 3,000 milligrams or more of omega-3 fats in the form of EPA and DHA are necessary for specific cardiovascular health benefits such as reducing triglycerides. The triglycerides comprise the total cholesterol. Therefore, the triglyceride number affects the total cholesterol number. (more…)

How does the omega-3 in Res-Q 1250 compare to the omega-3 in “omega-3 oil spreads”?

Wednesday, February 4th, 2009

It’s possible that healthy omega-3 oil spread could be a good oil to substitute for other oils, for use on your bread. However, don’t think that you can skip taking omega-3 as a supplement. Omega-3 spread does not provide anywhere near enough omega-3 that you can skip taking an omega-3 supplement. As far as obtaining omega-3 for general health benefits attributed to omega 3, it is virtually useless.

We looked at a popular name brand omega-3 spread. The added omega-3 butter substitute spread is not the right type of omega-3 for cardiovascular health!  Res-Q 1250 provides the proper balance of EPA and DHA, (omega-3 fatty acids) for cardiovascular health. In fact, most omega-3 fortified foods do not contain any EPA and DHA at all! (more…)

How does Res-Q 1250 compare to eating salmon?

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009
Market Research Report

On average, you would have to eat 28 pounds of sockeye salmon to equal the amount of omega-3 fats in one bottle of Res-Q 1250. When taken as directed, each bottle lasts 33 days. Imagine eating 28 pounds of fish in one month.

Concerns over the mercury content of fish have restricted the recommendations of health agencies regarding intake of omega-3s in an individual’s diet by limiting the amount of times fish should be consumed per week.

Supplementing the diet with Res-Q 1250 is the easiest way to consume the recommended daily intake of omega-3s without having to worry about high mercury levels. (more…)

How does Res-Q 1250 compare to leading brands of fish oil?

Market Research Report

We examined Res-Q 1250 and compared Res-Q 1250 with all the major brands that we could find at the local pharmacy, grocery store, discount stores, and on the internet. We discovered that people are paying far more for their omega-3’s at the store, and even online. For example, one name-brand product that we examined contained less EPA and DHA per capsule than one Res-Q 1250 capsule. The bottle also contained 100 capsules. Res-Q 1250 contains 200 capsules. In fact, it took 14 of these fish oil capsules to equal the amount of EPA and DHA in 6 Res-Q 1250 Capsules.

It took 14 fish oil capsules to equal 6 Res-Q 1250 Capsules! (more…)

Is the triglyceride form of omega-3 better than ethyl ester?

Thursday, January 8th, 2009

No. The truth is that ethyl esters perform just as well in the body as triglycerides do.

In a twelve week randomized crossover study, an ethyl ester concentrate of EPA and DHA was compared with a triglyceride-based fish oil. Both preparations reduced triglycerides by 50%. The study used doses of 2- 4 grams. Therefore, it is the amount of omega-3 and not the form of oil that is necessary for results. It is the level of omega-3 essential fatty acids consumed daily that is imperative to attaining results, and NOT whether the supplement is in a triglyceride form or an ethyl ester form. (more…)

What about omega-3 eggs as a source of DHA?

Monday, January 5th, 2009

There is not enough omega-3s in omega-3 eggs. Don’t think that you can skip taking an omega-3 supplement. You need to take an omega-3 supplement derived from a fish source to obtain a beneficial level of omega-3 fatty acids.

We looked at a brand-name omega-3 egg with DHA. We compared the amount of DHA to the DHA supplement in Res-Q 1250. We discovered that it takes 480 eggs to equal the amount of DHA in one bottle of Res-Q 1250.

Res-Q 1250 Capsules

Market Research Report

We compared Res-Q 1250 to a popular name-brand flaxseed oil supplement. We were shocked at how little omega-3 content was in the oil. The 1,000 milligrams was 1,000 milligrams of flaxseed oil, not 1,000 milligrams of omega-3. The actual omega-3 content was only 50 milligrams per capsule!

Only a small percentage of that 50 milligrams can be converted by the body into the active form of omega-3 called EPA and DHA! That is even less omega-3.

Studies credit the specific omega-3 fats EPA and DHA with the health benefits you read about in magazines. These include, but are not limited to: helping to lower triglycerides, reducing inflammation, and improving mood, eye sight, skin, hair, nails and overall well-being.  The higher the concentration of EPA and DHA, the better the product.

We discovered that you would have to consume 50 bottles of this popular name-brand flaxseed oil in order to equal the amount of EPA and DHA in just one bottle of Res-Q® 1250.

Why pay more for EPA and DHA?

Res-Q 1250 Capsules Buy the best. Buy Res-Q 1250

Although the active ingredients in fish oil are, in fact, EPA and DHA, many brands do not purify these ingredients or extract sufficient amounts of them to have a bearing on improving your health. Therefore a product, which is simply fish oil, may contain more fish per capsule than active ingredients EPA and DHA.

RES-Q® 1250 FACTS:
Res-Q® 1250 capsules provide two to three times as much omega-3 fats (EPA and DHA) per capsule than leading brands of fish oils found in stores. Res-Q® 1250 is one of the only omega-3 products on the market that can be considered pharmaceutical grade. (more…)

Res-Q 1250 Versus Other Fish Oils

To obtain the amounts of the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA that you need to reduce triglycerides and obtain the health benefits that you hear about on the Res-Q radio shows, you would need to consume very large amounts of fish oils and consuming large amounts of a fish oil known as cod liver oil could lead to accumlation of too much Vitamin A and the cod fish is not a good source of omega-3 when compared to other fatty fish such as sardines and herring.
