Only a very small percentage of this plant based omega-3 flaxseed can be converted for use by the body into the active clinically recognized omega-3 metabolites called EPA and DHA.

As far as a source of omega-3, fish sources are still the best way to get any useful amount of omega-3. Res-Q 1250 is derived from open sea fish that are rich in omega-3. The oil from these omega 3 fish is then purified and extracted to produce a potent, safe source of omega-3 and a beneficial heart-healthy level of omega-3 that can not be obtained from diet alone. Buy Res-Q 1250 Online at http://www.myresqproducts.com/ Res-Q 1250 is available in gelcaps or liquid. Order Res-Q 1250 by phone at 1-800-26-ALIVE.

Res-Q 1250 provides cardiovascular health benefits that most fish oils can not provide.

Res-Q 1250 is specifically formulated to provide the proper levels of EPA and DHA for cardiovascular health. Most fish oils that I have seen do not provide enough omega-3 to be effective. Multiple reports show that 3,000 milligrams or more of omega-3 fats in the form of EPA and DHA are necessary for specific cardiovascular-health benefits such as reducing triglycerides. The triglycerides comprise the total cholesterol. Therefore, the triglyceride number affects the total cholesterol number.

Cod liver oils are fish oils from the cod fish.

Unlike cod liver oil, Res-Q 1250 is not derived from fish livers.

The cod liver oils that I have seen are often used for their Vitamin A content, and therefore limit their recommend daily dosage to only one teaspoon a day, which provides only a little omega-3. Vitamin A intake is often controlled because exceeding excess limits are harmful, and a little omega-3 is just not effective.

Res-Q 1250 is effective at reducing triglycerides, because it is a potent omega-3. Most fish oils do not provide 3,000 milligrams of EPA and DHA in a daily dosage. One cod liver oil capsule that I saw was so low in omega-3 content, that it was difficult to determine how many capsules would equal our product.

The amounts of omega-3 found in the oil can vary greatly per capsule. The total milligrams of the fish oil is not helpful in determining omega-3 content and potency.

An effective amount of omega-3 can be provided to achieve specific health benefits such as help with occasional pain reduction, and triglyceride reduction. Without a safe and potent omega-3 product like Res-Q 1250, specific health-benefits of omega-3 supplementation simply would not be attainable from fish oil.

Summary:
Unlike many other fish oil products, Res-Q 1250 provides the proper levels of omega-3 for cardiovascular health.

It’s possible that healthy omega-3 oil spread could be a good oil to substitute for other oils, for use on your bread. However, don’t think that you can skip taking omega-3 as a supplement. Omega-3 spread does not provide anywhere near enough omega-3 that you can skip taking an omega-3 supplement. As far as obtaining omega-3 for general health benefits attributed to omega 3, it is virtually useless.

We looked at a popular name brand omega-3 spread. The added omega-3 butter substitute spread is not the right type of omega-3 for cardiovascular health! Res-Q 1250 provides the proper balance of EPA and DHA, (omega-3 fatty acids) for cardiovascular health. In fact, most omega-3 fortified foods do not contain any EPA and DHA at all!

How is this possible when the label lists omega-3?
The omega-3s in fortified foods is typically found in the form of an omega-3 fatty acid called “ALA.” The problem with ALA is that the body must metabolize ALA. ALA must be converted into EPA and DHA.

So if the body converts it, then I am still getting an equal amount of EPA and DHA right?
No. You are getting very little, if any, EPA and DHA. Only a very small percentage, approximately 1-3%, of ALA can be converted into the heart healthy omega-3 metabolites EPA and DHA. Some research reports suggest that some people may lack the ability to properly convert ALA into EPA and DHA at all!In order to achieve an amount of EPA and DHA equal to a daily dosage of Res-Q 1250 (6 capsules per day), you would have to eat at least two huge containers of this omega-3 spread!

On average, you would have to eat 28 pounds of sockeye salmon to equal the amount of omega-3 fats in one bottle of Res-Q 1250. When taken as directed, each bottle lasts 33 days. Imagine eating 28 pounds of fish in one month.

Concerns over the mercury content of fish have restricted the recommendations of health agencies regarding intake of omega-3s in an individual’s diet by limiting the amount of times fish should be consumed per week.

Supplementing the diet with Res-Q 1250 is the easiest way to consume the recommended daily intake of omega-3s without having to worry about high mercury levels. We remove the oil from the fish and very carefully, utilizing special technology, extract the beneficial omega-3 parts, while discarding the rest. The result is a pure, safe source of omega-3, free of the harmful levels of mercury normally found in fish. The oil is then tested to ensure compliance with the highest industry standards for mercury levels for omega-3 supplements. Res-Q 1250 exceeds even the best standards.

I am not suggesting that people should never eat fish. I am suggesting that it is a good idea to supplement the diet with a good omega-3 dietary supplement, such as Res-Q 1250 in order to obtain desired levels of omega-3s in a safe way. Due to pollution, it is hardly possible to obtain desired levels of omega-3s naturally anymore, without obtaining mercury and heavy metals. Unless you are a Greenlander or a native Alaskan whose entire diet is fish-based, it is difficult to obtain enough omega-3s by diet alone to keep the body in an optimal state of health.

Market Research Report

We examined Res-Q 1250 and compared Res-Q 1250 with all the major brands that we could find at the local pharmacy, grocery store, discount stores, and on the internet. We discovered that people are paying far more for their omega-3’s at the store, and even online. For example, one name-brand product that we examined contained less EPA and DHA per capsule than one Res-Q 1250 capsule. The bottle also contained 100 capsules. Res-Q 1250 contains 200 capsules. In fact, it took 14 of these fish oil capsules to equal the amount of EPA and DHA in 6 Res-Q 1250 Capsules.

It took 14 fish oil capsules to equal 6 Res-Q 1250 Capsules!

The low price per bottle may have fooled the consumer into thinking that they were getting a better value. A lower price per bottle does not always mean a better value. Res-Q 1250 is an EPA and DHA supplement. The molecules in fish oil that have been researched and are responsible for improving overall health are known as EPA and DHA.

In a twelve week randomized crossover study, an ethyl ester concentrate of EPA and DHA was compared with a triglyceride-based fish oil. Both preparations reduced triglycerides by 50%.1 It is the level of omega-3 essential fatty acids consumed daily that is imperative to attaining results, and NOT whether the supplement is in a triglyceride form or an ethyl ester form.

As mentioned by Vascular Health and Risk Managment, “A 50% ethyl ester concentrate of EPA–DHA (“Himega”) was compared with a triglyceride-based fish oil in 13 hypertriglyceridemic persons in a twelve week randomized crossover study (Simons et al 1990). Both preparations lowered triglycerides by 50% in doses of 2 g/day or 4 g/day.”

With all the information on the internet, it is still difficult to differentiate between “good science” and “good marketing.” Some information borders on downright nonsense or pure fabrication, while other information has some truth to it. However, studies speak for themselves. Medical journals and reports written by and for the medical community contain the most current and reliable information. The best thing to do is read for yourself from a non-biased publication.

Omega-3s as ethyl esters are also just as equally absorbed as triglycerides. There is a difference in the rate of absorption, not the absorption ability. Both are equally able to be absorbed. In other words, one is not absorbed better than the other. There is not any difference in efficacy either.

We offer a pure, potent omega-3 supplement called Res-Q 1250, intended to encourage the reduction of triglycerides. Res-Q 1250 provides the proper balance of omega-3 fatty acids for cardiovascular health benefits. Res-Q 1250 is available in both an ethyl ester (capsules) and a triglyceride form (liquid). Res-Q 1250 is specifically formulated to deliver enough EPA and DHA for cardiovascular health benefits.

There is not enough omega-3s in omega-3 eggs. Don’t think that you can skip taking an omega-3 supplement. You need to take an omega-3 supplement derived from a fish source to obtain a beneficial level of omega-3 fatty acids.

We looked at a brand-name omega-3 egg with DHA. We compared the amount of DHA to the DHA supplement in Res-Q 1250.

Each bottle of Res-Q 1250 is a 33-50 day supply, when taken as directed (4-6 caps per day). I don’t think anyone should eat that many eggs per month to try to get omega-3s into their diet. There are far better sources of omega-3 available.

There is just not enough omega-3 fatty acids in eggs to provide the benefits of omega-3 known to Res-Q 1250. It is a very, very, small amount of omega-3 in an egg. You could get more omega-3 from a three-ounce piece of salmon.

Some food, like eggs, which claim to be fortified with omega-3s, do not contain ANY omega-3s in the form of EPA/DHA. Some do not contain the protective type of omega-3. And some may contain traces of DHA if you eat the yolk, but it’s a relatively small, almost inconsequential amount.

Res-Q 1250 is a direct source of EPA/DHA. You need 3-4 grams of omega-3 fats in the form of EPA and DHA for cardiovascular health benefits. Four grams equals 4,000 milligrams.

When you see 150mg of DHA, measure that with up to 4,000 milligrams of DHA. Results are going to be different. The health effects are going to be different for a person taking 100 milligrams of DHA versus a person taking 4,000 milligrams of EPA and/or DHA.

“Four g/day of EPA-DHA were compared with corn oil in a 5-6 month randomized study in 20 hypertriglyceridemic patients undergoing coronary bypass grafting in mid-study (Nilsen et al 1991). At the end of study, plasma triglycerides were reduced by 39% by EPA-DHA…”1

Market Research Report

We compared Res-Q 1250 to a popular name-brand flaxseed oil supplement. We were shocked at how little omega-3 content was in the oil. The 1,000 milligrams was 1,000 milligrams of flaxseed oil, not 1,000 milligrams of omega-3. The actual omega-3 content was only 50 milligrams per capsule!

Only a small percentage of that 50 milligrams can be converted by the body into the active form of omega-3 called EPA and DHA! That is even less omega-3.

Studies credit the specific omega-3 fats EPA and DHA with the health benefits you read about in magazines. These include, but are not limited to: helping to lower triglycerides, reducing inflammation, and improving mood, eye sight, skin, hair, nails and overall well-being. The higher the concentration of EPA and DHA, the better the product.

We discovered that you would have to consume 50 bottles of this popular name-brand flaxseed oil in order to equal the amount of EPA and DHA in just one bottle of Res-Q® 1250.

Why pay more for EPA and DHA?

Res-Q® “makes the grade,” and has all the essential qualities of an outstanding product.

Res-Q’s patented process uses proprietary engineering technology to concentrate and purify omega-3s with a multi-step purification process including molecular distillation. This provides ultra purity and concentration in your Res-Q® 1250 supplement.

Don’t buy a fish oil supplement:

If your doctor has recommended that you take an omega-3 supplement, chances are, he or she does not want you to run out to the pharmacy and just buy “fish oil.” Most fish oils are just that: fish. And that’s not what you’re looking for when it comes to purified, potent omega-3s.

The best omega-3 products on the market have high concentrations of two molecules called EPA and DHA. These are the fatty-acids responsible for a myriad of heart and health benefits such as helping to lower triglycerides and reducing inflammation to improving such things as mood, eye sight, skin, hair, nails and overall well-being. The higher the concentration of EPA and DHA, the better the product.

In economically tough times we tend to cut corners. We buy cheaper brands and expect the same benefits as the “good” stuff. But like tires, when it comes to buying a potent omega-3 product you simply cannot risk cutting corners and buying the cheaper brand.

The best omega-3 products on the market are highly refined oils that contain less fish and more of the active ingredient EPA and DHA. Res-Q 1250 is the gold standard of omega-3 supplements.

Res-Q 1250 is made from pellagic (open-sea) fish with fins and scales from the sardine and herring family, a potent source of the omega-3 fats EPA and DHA.

The concern over the safety of fish consumption is another reason why supplementing with Res-Q 1250 is a better option. Res-Q 1250 is free of harmful mercury and other pollutants found in fish. Res-Q 1250 supplies you with the essential amounts of omega-3 EPA and DHA needed for cardiovascular health.

Capsules and Liquid

Res-Q 1250 is available in both capsules and liquid. The effectiveness of both Res-Q 1250 capsules and Res-Q 1250 Liquid is the same.

Use Res-Q products together for superior performance

Res-Q products are designed to work together. For optimal results and cholesterol well-being, we recommend taking Res-Q 1250 with Res-Q LDL-x2 with Niacin and Res-Q CellPower.

We educate physicians

An increasing number of physicians are members of Res-Q’s Medical Associates Program. We get a lot of referrals from doctors who are recommending Res-Q 1250 as well as other Res-Q products to their patients. Scientific research is based on EPA and DHA (omega-3 fatty acids). Res-Q 1250 contains the highest amounts of EPA and DHA and has been a trusted name in the marine oil industry for well over 20 years.
