How does the omega 3 in Res-Q 1250 compare to flaxseed oil?

Tuesday, May 5th, 2009

Res-Q 1250 Capsules  There is not any EPA/DHA in flaxseeds. Res-Q 1250 is a direct source of EPA and DHA, the beneficial omega-3 fats that are necessary for cholesterol health benefits. The milligrams of omega-3 that you see on the flaxseed label are not in the form of EPA and DHA. Only a very small percentage of this plant based omega-3 flaxseed can be converted for use by the body into the active clinically recognized omega-3 metabolites called EPA and DHA.     (more…)

Res-Q 1250 helps keep healthy bones healthy.

Res-Q 1250 helps keep healthy bones healthy.

Health
Res-Q 1250, a pure, potent omega-3 supplement, may help maintain a healthy bone weight and strength, which is common to everyone. The essential fatty acids EPA and DHA are beneficial for the bones. Res-Q 1250 provides the proper balance of the omega-3 essential fatty acids EPA and DHA for good health.

Aging
Res-Q 1250 is beneficial to maintain good bone health during aging. A diet that includes the proper balance of fats in the diet, Vitamin D, and calcium may help keep bones healthy as we age. If you are taking calcium for bone health, then you should also take an omega-3 supplement. “Several studies evaluating n-3 PUFA ranging from 3 to 6 g/day showed a modest, but rather consistent beneficial effect of these fatty acids in joint disease.”2 (more…)

Why take that many Res-Q 1250 capsules per day?

Tuesday, April 21st, 2009

Res-Q 1250 Capsules One of the most commonly asked Res-Q questions is, “Why do you take so many Res-Q 1250 capsules per day?”

The answer is, “Because this is what works.”

Res-Q 1250 is highly concentrated. Even if you took one capsule a day of the most concentrated marine oil product on the market like Res-Q 1250, you would still get a better value for your dollar. It would take 12 capsules of the typical low-potency fish oil capsules to equal 6 capsules of Res-Q 1250. (more…)

How Does Res-Q 1250 Compare to Cod Liver Oil?

Res-Q 1250 Capsules and Liquid Lemon

Res-Q 1250 provides cardiovascular health benefits that most fish oils can not provide.
Res-Q 1250 is specifically formulated to provide the proper levels of EPA and DHA for cardiovascular health. Most fish oils that I have seen do not provide enough omega-3 to be effective. Multiple reports show that 3,000 milligrams or more of omega-3 fats in the form of EPA and DHA are necessary for specific cardiovascular-health benefits such as reducing triglycerides. The triglycerides comprise the total cholesterol. Therefore, the triglyceride number affects the total cholesterol number. (more…)

Plant Sterols and Heart Disease

Thursday, February 26th, 2009
Res-Q LDL-x2 is also available with niacin.

Res-Q LDL-x2 is also available with niacin.

In recent years, the Food and Drug Administration approved a health claim for plant sterols and heart disease. The FDA states that “Foods containing at least .65 grams per serving of plant sterol esters, consumed twice a day with meals for a daily total intake of at least 1.3 grams, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease.” A one caplet serving of Res-Q LDL-x2 With Niacin (Res-Q LDL-x2), contains .65 grams of plant sterols, taken twice a day with meals, equals a daily total intake of 1.3 grams of plant sterol esters. The FDA further acknowledges that “the scientific evidence established that including plant sterols in the diet helps to lower blood total and LDL cholesterol levels.”

Plant Sterols are an active ingredient in Res-Q LDL-x2. Res-Q LDL-x2 works in conjunction with Res-Q 1250 to promote good cardiovascular health by promoting circulation and cholesterol well-being. The plant sterols in Res-Q LDL-x2 reduce the absorption of dietary cholesterol and inhibit the re-absorption of body-produced cholesterol. (more…)

Omega-3 News: Omega-3 and Healthy Babies

Picture of Mom and BabyMore DHA for Healthy Babies!

Omega-3 fatty acids, such as DHA, play a role in producing healthy babies. Mom’s diet is so important to unborn babies, since healthy babies rely on mom’s nutritional diet. Healthy babies also rely on DHA from breast milk.

If mom is deficient in DHA, an omega-3 fatty acid, then the baby will be deficient in DHA! Omega-3 fatty acids like DHA, are good beneficial fats that promote brain development. In fact, the majority of the brain is fat of which DHA represents a portion of the brain.

A new randomized, controlled clinical-trial shows that more DHA is better for healthy babies. (more…)

How does the omega-3 in Res-Q 1250 compare to the omega-3 in “omega-3 oil spreads”?

Wednesday, February 4th, 2009

It’s possible that healthy omega-3 oil spread could be a good oil to substitute for other oils, for use on your bread. However, don’t think that you can skip taking omega-3 as a supplement. Omega-3 spread does not provide anywhere near enough omega-3 that you can skip taking an omega-3 supplement. As far as obtaining omega-3 for general health benefits attributed to omega 3, it is virtually useless.

We looked at a popular name brand omega-3 spread. The added omega-3 butter substitute spread is not the right type of omega-3 for cardiovascular health!  Res-Q 1250 provides the proper balance of EPA and DHA, (omega-3 fatty acids) for cardiovascular health. In fact, most omega-3 fortified foods do not contain any EPA and DHA at all! (more…)

How Does Res-Q 1250 Compare to Eating Salmon?

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009
Market Research Report

On average, you would have to eat 28 pounds of sockeye salmon to equal the amount of omega-3 fats in one bottle of Res-Q 1250. When taken as directed, each bottle lasts 33 days. Imagine eating 28 pounds of fish in one month.

Concerns over the mercury content of fish have restricted the recommendations of health agencies regarding intake of omega-3s in an individual’s diet by limiting the amount of times fish should be consumed per week.

Supplementing the diet with Res-Q 1250 is the easiest way to consume the recommended daily intake of omega-3s without having to worry about high mercury levels. (more…)

Get Help for Inflammation

Monday, January 26th, 2009

Are you looking for a natural means to reduce inflammation?

Too much saturated fat leads to inflammation and insulin resistance.
Read food labels. Look at your favorite snack foods. Consuming lots of saturated fats per day and little to no omega-3 fats can produce inflammation. You can balance the body’s inflammatory response by reducing the over-consumption of inflammatory foods and supplementing the diet with omega-3s.

Omega-3 fats have the opposite effect of saturated fats.
When we hear the word “fat,” we think of something bad for us or bad for our body. However, omega-3 fats from fish have an opposite effect in the body. They help to deter inflammation–not cause it. A pure source of omega-3 fats is healthiest.

Our diet does not deliver sufficient levels of omega-3. The omega-3s found in omega-3 fortified foods and cooked fish is not enough to have a significant effect on inflammation. Most over-the-counter fish oils do not provide enough omega-3 in one daily dose to have a significant effect.

The best way to supplement the diet with omega-3’s is to take a purified, potent supplement derived from fish oil.

Res-Q 1250 is a highly purified, potent and effective omega-3 supplement intended to help restore the proper balance of omega-3 fats back into your diet for a more balanced inflammatory response. For significant health benefits, Res-Q 1250 provides the right levels of omega-3 fats as shown effective in clinical studies. Beneficial results can be seen in just 4-6 weeks. Supplementing your daily diet with Res-Q 1250 can make a dramatic difference in how you feel.
