Cholesterol Health:
For complete cholesterol well-being and good cardiovascular health, Res-Q Land ‘n’ Sea Fiber is intended to be used in addition to, not in replace of, our primary cholesterol health products: Res-Q 1250, Res-Q LDL-x2 with Niacin, and Res-Q CellPower.
Psyllium seed husks are a rich source of soluble fiber and one of the health benefits of soluble fiber is heart health. Soluble fiber from foods such as psyllium seed husk in Res-Q Land ‘n’ Sea Fiber, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease. A single serving of Res-Q Land ‘n’ Sea Fiber powder (one serving equals a tablespoon) provides a minimum of 3 grams of the 7 grams of the soluble fiber from psyllium seed husks necessary per day to have this effect. Therefore, for heart health, we suggest that our customers take two heaping tablespoons daily. Soluble fiber from certain foods when included in a low saturated fat and cholesterol diet also helps to lower blood total and LDL cholesterol levels. (more…)

Psyllium is a safe and effective fiber supplement. According to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, “The addition of psyllium to a traditional diet for persons with diabetes is safe, is well tolerated, and improves glycemic and lipid control in men with type 2 diabetes and hypercholesterolemia.”

who consume highly refined diets lacking fiber, drink little or no water, and are not active, may experience a slow moving intestinal tract and constipation.
This is a good reason to always try to drink enough fluid. Of course, eating a healthy diet providing the right amount of fiber is ideal.
Question is what to do when you know only being human, you ate pizza and fries for lunch?
Fiber is so important that a recent medical paper detailing diabetes care, recommended consuming 14 grams of fiber per day.

Res-Q Land ‘n’ Sea Fiber contains Psyllium seed husks, the beneficial part of the Psyllium plant. The husk is a good source of natural fiber, soaking up many times its weight in water. The effect of this is natural and easy movements, and healthy elimination, benefiting both occasional diarrhea and occasional constipation.
This is something that not everyone knows. Since pysllium soaks up water, it is very effective for occasional diarrhea AND occasional constipation.
Anyone experiencing chronic or persistent constipation, should consult their physician in case it is a sign or symptom of a bigger problem requiring further diagnosis and further treatment.
